"Ny Ålesund, E of Westbyelva, S of Thiisbukta (78° 55' N, 11° 55' E). Marine and river sediments on the eastern side of the river delta."

Remarks

Received from Arild Endal, UMB, 1990. Isolated from agar (dish #9). Originally growing on Aulacomnium turgidum. Produces yellow substance which is secreted to the medium during growth.
